Where we're aiming for
In the third episode of Vision Talks, Dolf and Maarten discuss the target audiences of Hotek. Since 1999, Hotek has primarily been involved in the hotel industry, but in addition, we are also very active in other markets such as cruise ships, holiday parks, co-working spaces, and student housing.
Cruise ships
Cruise ships have asked if it's possible to see how many people are on board through YourMobileKey. A development has been set up for this, but not yet implemented due to the coronavirus. The idea is to see who is on board in case of emergencies. It's currently on hold, but we hope to implement it soon.
Holiday parks
In 2000, Dolf visited holiday parks to observe the busiest point for check-in. Wheelbarrows were used to bring the keys to the reception. There were 10-12 employees distributing the keys. With YourMobileKey, this can all be managed in a web app, allowing guests access to the park and accommodation from a certain time (check-in time).
Co-work spaces
We are also becoming increasingly active in co-work spaces, where temporary office spaces and meeting rooms are rented out. It's easy to manage with YourMobileKey, providing access to those who have rented an office space or meeting room.
Student housing
Everyone forgets their keycard here, which provides access to the student housing. While you have your phone with you all day. A special web application has also been built for students. With YourMobileKey, it's possible to create a separate web application for each target group, with different preferences for that target group.
New markets
We're also considering whether we can become active in other markets, such as automotive. For anyone who has a good idea for a mobile platform, give us a call! We're looking for new challenges!
