What is Your Mobile Key?
Your Mobile Key is een digitale sleutel, in plaats van een fysieke pas. Je gasten ontvangen een digitale sleutel via een veilige online omgeving dankzij 256 AES encryptie en een eigen cloudplatform. De sleutels worden eenvoudig via e-mail, Whatsapp, SMS of QR code gedeeld.
Zo kan een gast eenvoudig Your Mobile Key gebruiken zonder dat daar bluetooth, een wallet of een app download voor nodig is. Dat maakt het gebruik laagdrempelig en toegankelijk. Met één slide via de webapp opent de gast de deur, volledig digitaal.

Your Mobile Key is simply the solution that always works. Your Mobile Key is in fact easy to integrate into the Hotek lock system, existing keycard systems from other suppliers, but also into newly installed lock systems. The workflow requires little to no additional hardware. The locks are connected to gateways per floor or department via the existing internet switch.
Geschikt voor bestaande systemen en processen
Onze digitale sleutels zijn ontwikkeld om goed aan te sluiten op bestaande hotelsystemen, sloten en operationele processen. Daardoor hoeft een overstap naar mobile key niet ingewikkeld te zijn en is er zelfs geen nieuwe hardware nodig.
Daarnaast heeft ons mobile key systeem geen app download nodig. De digitale sleutel wordt eenvoudig beschikbaar gemaakt via een veilige link. Dit betekent een lagere druk op de receptie en voor de gasten gemakkelijk gebruik voor toegang. Bovendien is deze oplossing een stuk duurzamer dan fysieke toegangspasjes zoals keycards, want bij een mobile key oplossing wordt er tot 90% minder plastic gebruikt, wat neerkomt op +/- 12,000 kaarten per 100 hotelkamers per jaar.
Een mobile key oplossing zonder app download
Een belangrijk voordeel van onze Your Mobile Key is dat gasten geen aparte app hoeven te downloaden. De digitale sleutel wordt eenvoudig beschikbaar gemaakt via een veilige link. De hardware- en softwarecomponenten hebben een AES 256-beveiligingslaag voor communicatie tussen sloten, gateways en de cloudsoftware. Elk slot heeft zijn eigen unieke versleuteling. Voor gasten betekent het meer gemak. Zij ontvangen hun My Mobile Key direct op hun telefoon via e-mail, WhatsApp, QR-code of SMS en kunnen sneller naar hun kamer.
Daarnaast krijg jij een eigen Your Mobile Key dashboard waarin jij je volledige mobile key systeem kan beheren. Zo heb je onder andere inzichtelijk welke deuren er geopend worden, kun je zien welke sleutels er zijn verlopen en zie je op ieder moment hoeveel mensen zijn ingecheckt. Sinds kort heb je dit nu ook mobiel inzichtelijk dankzij onze Hotek app, waarbij je het dashboard eenvoudig beheerd vanaf je mobiel.

Your Mobile Key Plus is de slimme keuze voor organisaties die snel en eenvoudig willen starten met digitale toegang. Je ontvangt de complete mobile key webapp, de hotelreceptie tool, vier taalkeuzes, een interface met eigen logo en je kunt eenvoudig deuren openen via mobiel. Ideaal voor hospitality bedrijven die willen innoveren en willen digitaliseren.

Your Mobile Key Exclusive is ontwikkeld voor organisaties die meer controle, maatwerk en geavanceerde mogelijkheden zoeken. Deze oplossing is volledig custom, het biedt extra flexibiliteit dankzij diverse modules, je hebt 24/7 toegang tot het cms en je ontvangt zelfs een Whatsappfunctie of chatfunctie. The locks module allows you to customize the style of the locks entirely to your own preferences:
- Round or square sliders
- The color of the button in the slider
- The color of the button in the slider
- The color of the icon in the slider
- Adjust the texts in the sliders.
You can set times for each lock when the doors cannot be opened digitally. For example, you can set the door to the swimming pool to not be openable by guests after 10:00 PM and only open again at 8:00 AM in the morning. You can create a daily or weekly schedule for each lock.
It is also possible to set each lock to be opened or closed at certain times. Create a daily or weekly schedule per lock for this purpose.
Check our website to see if there is an integration with your PMS. After linking a PMS, guests will automatically receive a digital key via email and/or SMS.
The PMS integration is also used for other modules such as the Feedback module and Forms module, but also for integrations with Butlaroo or the unTill POS system. For other integrations, please contact us.
In Connect 3.0, we have a database of 30,000 icons. The icons are divided into 68 categories.
We have integration with Font Awesome for our icon bank. This allows you to easily switch between different icon styles. Additionally, Font Awesome ensures that all icons are maintained and new ones are constantly added.
In Connect 3.0, we have a sitemap where you have an overview of all your pages in the web app. You can see which pages are linked to each other and search for pages in the search bar.
The sitemap also includes previews of the pages, allowing you to quickly navigate through your own web app and make changes to various pages in less than 5 minutes.
In the web app, you can add text to a page yourself. This text can be automatically translated into the other languages of the web app.
Of course, you can make all regular adjustments to texts by using the capabilities of our text editor.
In 3.0, you can customize your weather module yourself. You can choose from 5 different styles so it always matches your corporate identity. Additionally, you can decide whether you want to display a daily or weekly forecast.
The weather forecast is generated based on our integration with Weeronline and is requested based on the GPS location of your stay.
To place images in the web app, we have the photo slider. Here you can place either one image or multiple ones to create a slider.
You can still customize this slider with:
- Scroll direction. Horizontal or vertical.
- After how many seconds it moves to the next.
- Whether you want arrows, circles, both, or none as decoration.
- You can also link photos to other pages in the web app.
The page preview shows exactly how it will look. In other words: WYSIWYG — What You See Is What You Get!
Receiving reservations through a form for late check-out or bicycle rental?
We have an integration with Jotform in our CMS. You can create forms yourself and determine who receives an email when a form is filled out. In the CMS, you can also see an overview of completed forms.
If there is an integration with the PMS, a guest can order room service without specifying who the order is for; we already know which guest it is through the PMS integration.
Besides buttons side by side or buttons in a list, in 3.0 you can also choose Tetris blocks. These blocks have a playful display where you can vary the size of different buttons. You can also place a photo behind buttons and determine the opacity.
Choose from various Tetris templates and build your app according to your own style and vision. Large blocks, small blocks, with or without photos; it's all possible.
If you want to know what your guests think about their stay, use the feedback module. Here, we have compiled questions for guests to respond to.
All information is collected on the dashboard, and you can choose whether you want to receive emails.
Collecting feedback during the stay allows you to assist guests during their stay, preventing negative reviews afterward.
If guests provide positive feedback, we can ask them to leave a review. For negative feedback, we can inquire about areas for improvement.
In all web apps, floating element buttons can be placed with links to the hotelier's social media.
Guests can be directed to the Facebook, Instagram, or Linkedin page.
In addition to social media buttons, buttons can also be added for direct calling/emailing and information about Keyless access.

What is Your Mobile Key?
Een mobile key is een digitale sleutel waarmee gasten via hun smartphone toegang krijgen tot hun kamer of accommodatie. Hotek Hospitality Group biedt standaard 24-uursservice, wereldwijd met 2 jaar all-in garantie inbegrepen. Onze eigen Nederlandse techneuten, reizen de hele wereld rond om een perfecte installatie te verzekeren. Daarnaast profiteert Your Mobile Key van het serviceprogramma van de Hotek Hospitality Group.
Welke Your Mobile Key pakketten heeft Hotek?
Bij Hotek hebben we twee verschillende pakketten voor Your Mobile Key. We hebben Your Mobile Key Plus en Your Mobile Key Exclusive. Bij beide pakketten beschik je over het beheren van je sloten en je eigen dashboard. What makes Your Mobile Key unique?
The combination of a cloud-based mobile key and digital communication for the guest journey (in the Web App) is unique. The Your Mobile Key controllers can be used with any electronic lock and transform your current offline system into an online access control system, giving you access to all doors via the cloud from anywhere in the world.
How did Your Mobile Key come about?
Your Mobile Key was developed by Dolf Mulder after other mobile key options like NFC in 2010 and Bluetooth in 2012 were introduced. Due to security risks and the requirement to download an app to open a lock, the decision was made to stop using NFC and BLE. In 2018, CLE (Cloud Low Energy) was introduced as the first true cloud-based mobile key. In 2020, the web application (PWA) was launched, eliminating the need to download an app.

Can Your Mobile Key also be used for buildings other than hotels?
Absolutely! In addition to hotels, our cloud platform can also be used for long-stay apartments, co-working spaces, bungalows, offices, student housing, and even at sea for cruise ships. Our Your Mobile Key controller can be used with any electronic lock, access doors, and elevators.
Why not Bluetooth?
Bluetooth always requires downloading an app, and you can't make direct changes. Almost all other lock providers need a third party to open doors via an app. We use the cloud, which means we’re always online. Most importantly, Bluetooth is not secure and very easy to hack. We believe Bluetooth is outdated and more suited for things like streaming audio in your car. For optimal security, you need an intelligent access platform.
What happens when my phone battery runs out?
Does Your Mobile Key communicate via WiFi?
You can always use a keycard, but with a 4G/5G internet connection on your smartphone, you can always connect to Your Mobile Key. We always recommend installing a mobile router connected to our gateway to ensure the cloud platform keeps working. As a backup, you can also use the keycard.
Does Your Mobile Key communicate via Wifi?
Why not an app download?
We believe that downloading an app and then being flooded with registration emails is neither welcoming nor user-friendly, especially for guests staying only a short time. We also see app downloads as an obstacle to using a mobile key. An app can be useful for frequently used tools, but it’s not ideal for short stays. If you already have an app for your hotel, no worries — our API can connect with your app provider. However, we believe that PWA (Progressive Web App) is the future!
Can Your Mobile Key be integrated with other software partners?
Yes it can! Your Mobile Key is a 100% Cloud Based Platform where we have already provided numerous integrations with most Cloud Based PMS systems. Besides API and OTA integration, Your Mobile Key can also be integrated with other hardware such as kiosks and other check-in terminals.
Can a guest arrange an upgrade or extra service through Your Mobile Key?
Yes, when you use our Plus or Exclusive package, the guest or user can easily arrange additional services. By comparing our different packages, you can view all options and choose what best suits your needs. Arranging a taxi or ordering room service is very simple. In addition, guests can also easily leave a review about their stay.
Can I also send the Your Mobile Key mobile key to another guest or user?
Can the Your Mobile Key mobile key also NOT be forwarded?
Can a guest or user remotely open a door?
You can choose to restrict access from outside the hotel or accommodation. In that case, a guest or user must be within a certain distance to open doors. Another option is to allow users to open doors from anywhere in the world, depending on the property settings and how access control should be used. So, it's up to you to decide whether or not to allow remote access.
Is it also possible to work with GPS to prevent the door from being opened from any distance?
Of course! With our Geofencing feature, we can first check the user’s location before the slider (door unlock) becomes active. Once you're within range, the slider is enabled. Additionally, we can configure GPS per door/slider. Optimal flexibility!
Is Your Mobile Key a start-up?
Your Mobile Key is a new brand within the Hotek Hospitality Group, which was founded in 1999 and has maintained a stable financial position for over 20 years. We are independent and will always remain so, and we have invested over 2 million Euros in the development and production of Your Mobile Key.
