The steps to perfection

In this video, we explain how we will install our Hotek locks at your hotel.

  • Op de dag van installatie proberen wij zo min mogelijk overlast te veroorzaken, wij hebben uw medewerking nodig om achter elkaar door te werken zodat wij efficiënt de installatie kunnen verzorgen. In het geval van freeswerk bij bestaande deuren maken wij lawaai en ook komt stof vrij. We ruimen het stof zelf op, maar als uw schoonmaakdienst achter ons aan kan lopen dan weten we zeker dat de kamer weer spic en span is.
  • In the case of new doors, it is necessary for the doors to be prepared from the factory with all mounting holes, including the depth of the lock case, front plate of the lock case, and mounting holes on both sides of the door. Unfortunately, this often goes wrong in practice. We naturally have milling drawings available with photos and can also send a dummy to your door supplier.
  • Regarding new frames, we can do the milling ourselves, but we will discuss with you on a per-hotel basis what the best solution is.
  • After the installation of the new Hotek lock, you can rent out the room again. It is important to warn your guests in advance that new locks are coming.
  • For the software, it is important to have a computer or laptop with Windows available. The software requirements are minimal, and we can optionally install the software remotely. Please have your IT department contact our support department for assistance: [email protected]
  • Of course, we also provide software training, which typically lasts a maximum of 1.5 hours. Often, we schedule this on the day of installation. In the case of new construction, you will first receive so-called construction passes, which are valid during construction. After we finish programming everything, these passes will be automatically canceled.
  • If you want a PMS Interface, please inform your supplier as soon as possible for the connection. This way, we can prepare in advance. There's no problem if you include us in the CC.
